On Thursday, I babysat Brooklyn and Blake. It was Brooklyn's first day of Kindergarten and she was telling me how it went. Then she told me that her teacher was really big and had a giant belly. I found this amusing. But then she went on to compare me to her teacher, saying that I was skinny and her teacher was quite large. I found this strange, because I'm not very skinny. (I’m workin on that though)Nina and Sean came over last night. We were making “videos.” First they consisted on finding a TV channel and muting it. Then we filled in the voices with our own. Next we make “music videos.” They mostly consisted of Sean and Nina jumping around, similar to the way monkeys do. When they made me come into the “video,” I mostly jumped up and down. lol. I did not fit in these videos because I am not small and agile like the two Asians. lol. Next we made little skits. Sean couldn’t get them right, thus it was quite amusing.
I have five days off from work. I plan on putting all my good photos in the album thing I bought last week. I am also going to go through all my pictures so I can work on my scrapbook.
My parents are gone for the weekend, for the Dave Matthews concert. They are staying at Rick’s house. Rick is the owner of the company I now work for. Well, apparently Barb, my "supervisor", said all these good things about me, which is very uncommon. Now Rick is going to pay my cell phone bill and possibly my car insurance. I was like WOOT! lol. That’s crazy.
Susie, my new found friend, has “learn to speak Italian” CDs, so she is going to let me borrow those and hopefully I can learn Italian. I am trying to find a tape for learning Ancient Greek, because that would be cool. And the Harry Potter book came out in Ancient Greek, so I could read that. I also plan on getting the bible on CD, so I can listen to that at night. I have attempted to read the bible, but it just didn’t work out. Every once in a while, I continue my attempt, but then it gets into long lists of names that I cannot pronounce. So, yeah. I will just get it on CD.
I still can’t decide what I want for my domain name. It is bothering me a lot. I got a new idea, and then I still have a few of my old ones in mind. They are:
Kamilot.com (the new one – its kinda cute)
Kamikissedcarl.com (if I haven’t told you who Carl is, it’s the little fat kid on Jimmy Neutron who likes llamas)
Picturesquepoet.com (picturesque is like the coolest word)
Papersomethings.com (its just sounds cool)
Simplenothings.com (this one sounds cool too)
I changed the colors of my blog for a few days. It is bothering me a little bit, so in a few days, I am either going to change is back, or pick new colors. I’m not sure yet. I now have my "TV Blog." There are pictures from shows that I watched lately. You can even click on them and leave a comment.
I drink about five cups of tea a day now. Tea is about the only thing I drink at the moment. I don’t tend to drink water because it either tastes like nothing or it tastes like dirt. I drink tea because is basically is water and it tastes good. I have noticed that each tea needs a different amount of sugar. This English Tea Time one needs two packets of sugar (well, spenda) and one to two little things of creamer. Then Earl Grey and Green Tea needs three packets of sugar. My spiced tea needs one packet, and the Olive Garden tea needs one to two packets. Now I should just start mixing alcohol with it and call it good. lol. I have decided I am getting ready for when I movie to Europe in four years. lol.
I went and saw I, Robot finally. Jennifer, Sarah and I went to the smallest theater ever, and there were a million people there. It was a great movie. They did a great job with the graphics, considering most of the movie wasn’t actually "filmed." Anyways, good movie and Will Smith is hotter than ever.
I saw the book The Bourne Legacy at Borders the other day. I just passed it and then I wondered if it was The Bourne Identity and The Bourne Supremacy all in one. But I was wrong. There are actually four books in the series. The Bourne Identity is, of course, the first book; followed by The Bourne Supremacy. Then there is The Bourne Ultimatum. The fourth book was not written by Robert Ludlum, who started the series, but Eric Van Lustbader. The fourth is called The Bourne Legacy. I might have to get the first one to see if it is any good. I buy one thing at Borders per week now. This week I am going to buy a Cat in the Hat bookmark.
I am bothered when people use the word persons. It isn't that people are illiterate, for most part, because most of the people that use the word persons (in a casual conversation) also use the word people. I think that bothers me the most, when they switch from word to word. Anyways... Everyone knows that the word people is the plural of person (unless it is a legal document lol) so why do people try to use the word persons in a casual conversation? I think that it is stupid. That is all I am going to say about that.
