I had a dandy time yesterday, well i mean saturday, its monday now. I went to Kent Cornucopia (which is a street fair for those of you who dont live in Kent or the surrounding areas) with my mom, dad, Sarah, John, Angie, Brooklyn, and Boedy. It was enjoyable. I went on those giant spinning bears with brooklyn (who is 4 by the way) and its amazing how fast that thing can spin for how large it is. so i had a pretty jolly good time. then it was nearly time for the Dixie Chicks concert, and Perki called that morning and said she couldn't go so i was trying to find someone all day long (and i called every damn person i knew) and it got to the time to leave and there still wasnt a person to go (everyone was either gone or had family coming or something.) so in the end, we had an extra ticket.
well, we were on our way and we ate at T.S. McHugh's. It was good. When we were eating we got to talking about John and Angie getting married, and apparently they are now going to get married in Vegas in August, and I might get to come along and babysit. i think it would be really cool. so maybe i have that to look forward to.
we had 6 tickets. 4 were together and then the other 2 were together. since i had not brought anyone i was going to sit with my parents. well the other 2 tickets looked like better seats and so i went and sat down there after the opener, who was totally awesome, for it was Michelle Branch! but, when i was sitting at the other seats, there were these 3 women sitting in front of us, and they must have been lesbos, or on ecstacy, or something. they were grinding eachother when i was sitting there. so after i went and sat at the other seats, they got worse and were now humping and kissing and getting out of control, from what i heard. but i had awesome seats, 18 rows up, nearly in the middle of one side of the stage (it was a elliptical stage for it was in the key arena.) then like about 20 minutes into the concert, i noticed i was the only one in my section singing to the songs, not that i was heard, but i dont think one single person, besides me, was singing. i heard the rest of the crowd singing, but not my section. i was going to get up and dance for a while, but i decided against it, for noone in my section stood up, except to go to the bathroom or to get a drink or something. i mean its like OK? Why are you people just sitting there? and they barely clapped or yelled. so, i sat there the whole time and was probablly the loadest person in my section, which was amazing, for i was screaming or singing the whole 2 hours. the only perk for this was i saw the whole stage nealy all the time.
