I passed my written test at the DMV today. Now I just have to get a birth certificate and take my Drive test. I should get my license the week after next. I will be in Oregon most of next week for I want to go to the Scandinavian festival and I need to babysit my cousins. My uncle's like 20th year high school reunion is next weekend. It should be a lot of fun, as long as I don’t see certain people while I am there.
Next week we are apparently buying a Christmas tree farm. We are going into it with both of my Dad's brothers. The land is 40 some acres. We are going to either cut the trees on the property for lumber or wait the two or so years until they are matured. I don’t remember what type of trees are on the property now. We will probably grow Nobels trees, which take eight to nine years to mature, or Fir trees, which take five to six years to mature. From what I have heard, we should make quite a bit of money after our first harvest. This won’t come for a while, considering the trees need to grow. If this farm does well, we will buy more land for more trees. I think a good investment has come our way.
MeMe and Brooklyn stayed at Rick's house until Tuesday when they came back to Kent. John, Angie, and the Crew (including MeMe and Kelly- a friend of Angie’s) came over and Bar-B-Qed last night. It was fun. Boedy went home with MeMe to her house located near Portland, Oregon. MeMe is such a sweet lady. She is very laid back and just goes with the flow of things. I wish one of my friends was like her.
People get to come over tomorrow for dinner too. What a busy week I have had. Monday, I cleaned a lot. Tuesday, I cleaned, got ready for my party, and partied. Wednesday, I cleaned and did something that I will have to remember at a later date. Thursday, I had a bunch of people over and had computer updatingness. Today, I ran around all day. We went to Costco and the DMV and I'm going to watch Blake or help Angie get ready for her garage sale in a little bit.
There was torrential rain today. My mother and I got lunch at Subway and then came home. We ate in our car because we were afraid to go outside it was raining so hard. Its Crazy! We needed some rain here though.
I got my Teen People Magazine on Wednesday. It has Chad Michael Murray all over it. It also has an interview with Tom Cruise. I was so happy when I got it in the mail.
Last weekend when it was like two in the morning, I was talking to Tyler and Clayton and that Justin kid. Well, we were talking about Kill Bill vol 1 and I said the best part of the movie was the title song (the song at the very beginning.) Well, Tyler actually knew how the song went and I was amused for several minutes. Finally today, I got the lyrics. I am going to print it out and put it somewhere. Its the funniest song!
I was five and he was six
We rode on horses made of sticks
He wore black and I wore white
He would always win the fight
Bang bang, he shot me down
Bang bang, I hit the ground
Bang bang, that awful sound
Bang bang, my baby shot me down...
The song goes on, but I can’t resist laughing every time I hear it. It is just like this website that is in the book Jennifer got me. Sooooo Funny!
Sorry that my post is all jumbled up. I have a few things going on as I was typing.
UPDATE! 8 August 2004 at 3:59 p.m.
I found out yesterday that I had signed up for a class in Enumclaw. Well, I'm not going to drive there to take a class that I can take three miles from my house. So, I had to redo my schedule because they did not have a class at similar times at the campus down the road. Im still not sure exactly what I am taking, which is kinda freaking me out. Well, I will try not to worry about it while I am away, but yeah.
Smile and Have a Happy Day!
